Duration: 1-2 Hours
So, you want to get into TV writing, and someone told you to write a “spec” script. That’s great! Now, all you have to do is figure out what that is . . . and everything else. The world of TV writing can be pretty daunting. TV veteran Brian Bradley is here to help with a webinar that aims to demystify the development process and get you ready to write a spec of your very own. Using the concept of “building a puzzle”, he will walk you through a sane and orderly creative system that will help you write a sample script that celebrates your unique voice and gets you noticed!
Note: Prior to the start of your scheduled class/classes you’ll receive a link to the Zoom Webinar/Masterclass along with any additional instructions.
Brian Bradley is a television writer and performer with over thirty years experience in a wide variety of entertainment worlds, ranging from live theatre to theme parks, to television and film. His TV writing credits include MADtv, SCRUBS, HAPPY ENDINGS and ABC’s UNCLE BUCK, which he created and executive produced. A veteran of the Hollywood development process, he is also the creator of numerous scripts and pilots that you will never see, despite his wife thinking all of them were “actually pretty good”. Most recently he was an Executive Producer for the reboot of HEAD OF THE CLASS for HBOMAX. Other than that, he mostly focuses on posting pics of his super cute English Springer Spaniel, Scout, with whom he shares a sincere love of snacks and a deep suspicion of squirrels.
